Frost Homes is a family-run custom home builder with over 40 years of legacy rooted on Bowen Island and the Lower Mainland.
When Frost Homes first approached me, they had already built a reputation that most companies can only aspire to. For over four decades, the Frost family had been shaping Bowen Island, crafting custom homes with a level of care and transparency that made them a fixture in the community. They had word-of-mouth, a trusted name, a long track record, and a new generation stepping into leadership.

Since there were no existing brand guidelines, I created a visual system for the website. The goal was to keep it clean and modern without feeling minimal to the point of being impersonal. I also wrote all of the website content.
The focus was on being direct, explaining how the company works, what they specialize in, and who is behind the business. The Frost family’s multi-generational involvement is a significant part of their identity, so introducing the leadership clearly was a priority. I avoided heavy marketing language and aimed for content that felt confident but approachable.

After finalizing the design system and content, I built the site in Webflow using a modular structure that would be easy for the client to maintain. Every section was built as a reusable component with clearly labeled classes, consistent spacing rules, and CMS-driven content wherever possible. This meant the Frost team could add new projects, update images, adjust copy, and expand pages without touching layout or styling.
I also created a Webflow Editor workflow tailored to their needs. This included simplifying the editing interface, adding helpful field descriptions, and removing elements they didn’t need to interact with. During handoff, I walked the team through how to update content, publish changes, and manage CMS items so they felt fully confident maintaining the site without developer support.
The result is a site that not only reflects the brand but also gives the client long-term control. They can continue evolving their online presence independently, using a structure built to scale with their business.
